Institutional programs

Strengthen the teams making investment decisions.

I design capability-building programs around the investment decisions participants must make in practice: sourcing, screening, due diligence, investment committees, ESG integration and portfolio monitoring.

Participants

Programs aligned with participants’ responsibilities.

An analyst, policymaker, angel investor and business-support professional face different responsibilities and information needs. Each programme begins with the decisions participants will be expected to make afterwards.

Financial institutions & investors

Early-stage decisions, due diligence, investment committees, portfolio management and ESG.

Public agencies & development programmes

Programme architecture, catalytic investment and engagement with private-sector investors.

Funds, angel networks & family offices

Sourcing, screening, transaction structuring, governance and monitoring.

Entrepreneurial ecosystems

Investment readiness, information quality and preparation for due diligence.

What changes

Turn knowledge into repeatable decisions.

01

Consistent screening

Shared criteria make opportunities easier to compare before full due diligence.

02

More focused due diligence

Analysis concentrates on the information, risks and execution factors that materially affect the decision.

03

ESG and impact integrated into judgement

Material sustainability factors become part of the investment case instead of a separate compliance layer.

04

A shared decision language

Memos, scorecards and monitoring tools make decisions easier to explain, compare and improve.

IN PRACTICE

Tools ready to use immediately.

My practice draws on screening, due-diligence, investment-memorandum, committee, ESG, impact and portfolio-monitoring tools developed and applied in real investment and capability-building contexts.

Across two cohorts, 44 investment professionals in 15 Caribbean countries developed more structured approaches to investment selection, analysis and decision-making. This experience also contributed to the development of a practical investment and ESG framework.

Tailored programs

Diagnosis comes before program design.

The content, duration and tools reflect organisational maturity, the investment mandate, participant profiles and market conditions.
